Introduction to Curriculum

Why is it important to teach Music?

Music education is an essential part of a primary school curriculum, and teaching children how to sing is one of the important musical skills kids can learn.

Singing helps kids master language development and aids in early literacy – invaluable for it gives them a much-needed head start!

Having the opportunity to make music and explore different sounds encourages kids to express themselves creatively and allows them to develop valuable listening and problem-solving skills that will stay with them for life.
